HIGHLIGHTS/AUCTIONEERS NOTES:

 In 1896, Arthur J Carruth, a lawyer from New York, came to Herington, KS during the railroad boom and founded the first Carruth Jewelry Store. The Carruth family-owned multiple businesses in Herington include a watch makers shop, a millinery, and others. Their last business closed in 1983. The majority of the items on this auction came from the family home, which saw 3 generations of Carruth’s, and the various businesses. A lot of the items survived a building fire that unfortunately claimed a lot of items as well. The family has cleaned and restored everything they could salvage, and it’s now being offered at auction. This is the first of several auctions from this estate, so keep an eye out for more coming soon. Please take your time and scroll through all the lots. Everything Sells to the Highest Bidder with NO Reserve and NO Sales Tax. Everything sells AS IS. Items have not been tested unless otherwise specified. Come to the loadout prepared with what you might need, bring your own boxes and packing material, bring loadout help, tools, dolly, truck, etc. If you think you need it, please bring it. Little to no loadout help will be available.
